66 VW Beetle AKA "66LDYBUG"

66 VW Beetle Hub Caps are extremely rare. I have searched pretty much the entire globe and all I could find was the Brazilian made cheap knock off "WANNA BE" hub caps. These are the kind you can stand by and watch them rust. Thin, poorest chrome I have ever seen with the "VW" Emblem which looks like it was "melted" in. So then I found an old run down Garage in Florida which had "Original" VW Hub Caps in the upstairs storage and bought 8 of what I considered to be the best "seconds" I could find. Although these are Original VW Hub Caps and look pretty good they still show their age and will never be what I consider "Show Quality" I have spent 5 years restoring 66LDYBUG and I want her to be "perfect" and perhaps even win some rewards.
I just happened to be looking for a Carburetor and Fuel Pump to finish off the "1300" and stumbled across Lane Russell's hub caps.
Well, I just received them gently and properly packaged and when I opened the box my Wife and I could not believe what we saw.
I am showing them off to my neighbours and friends and would like to say that if anyone is as passionate about their VW and doesn't what to install "junk" then this is the place to buy them.
Fantastic, Solid, excellent material mil specifications, Mirror finish Chrome better than the original one's I picked up in Florida.
In my opinion Lane Russell's quality is the best you are going to find anywhere (and I have shopped) and that goes for the Carburetor, Fuel Pump and pretty sure for everything else.
Because I am so impressed with the quality I will be looking to Lane Russell for my new Interior, which I know will be a challenge all on it's own.
I have only one regret and that is that I didn't find "Lane Russell" 5 years ago.

67 beetle hub caps

These beautiful well made hub caps are the final exterior upgrade I have made to the 67 VW sedan I bought three years ago. The car came wth the original hub caps that were still shining but all four had dents from improper installation. Before installing the new ones I watched Chris Vallone's video on how to safely install them so as to not get dents. I am ready for the next show.

Carl, We appreciate the business.

Pleased with the product.

The hubcaps arrived quickly and in very good packaging. This car is undergoing restoration so I haven't yet been able to install them. Overall, I'm very happy with your company. I will definitely shop your site for other products as I need them.

We are always here for your vintage VW needs.

Best hubcaps I've had on the car in decades

These guys aren't kidding when they say these hubcaps are a cut above.

I've owned my '67 VW for 48 years and am rather, er, particular about it. Hubcaps have become a sore point. You just can't get good ones. Everything you can buy has cheap-ass plating, or are not quite the right contour, or show sanding-mark like artifacts on their surfaces, or the VW emblem isn't quite right, or are so thin they bend even on careful installation, or lack the proper tool holes for removing them, or don't pinch the car's trim rings firmly in place. If you're at this page then you know the drill.

Well, these are good. They're REALLY good. Well made, well finished, properly contoured, do not omit the little tool holes for the VW hubcap remover tool, fit beautifully, and actually - because of their correct contour - pinch the car's aluminum trim rings to the rims so they don't clatter. If you care about your classic Bug then these are the best I've seen short of actual VW NOS.

Thank you for the support, Peter!
