Where are you located?
We are based in Decatur, GA, just outside of Atlanta. While we do not have a storefront at this time, all orders are carefully shipped from our workshop.
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes! We ship orders globally.
How much is shipping?
Select items include Free US Shipping and is noted in the product's description. For your convenience, there is a Shipping Rates Calculator in the shopping cart. Also, we have provided a chart for Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates on our Shipping page.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Decals and smaller items ship on the next business day. Oil Bath Air Cleaners ship in approximately 1 week. Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 4 weeks.
My order was split into multiple shipments. Why?
Sometimes items sell out locally at our workshop. When that happens, we often will ship the same part directly from our supplier and combined with our workshop. This gets the needed parts in your hands faster and your vintage VW back on the road.
What happens if items are backordered?
We will let you know via email. If the wait time is too long, we will simply credit back your account as needed. Our inventory changes daily. If you have a question about a specific part, feel free to email us.
How do I pay for my order?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club cards. We also accept PayPal. Sales tax will apply to all orders shipped to a Georgia address.
What about returns and exchanges?
You can review our return policy here.
Do you restore parts?
We sure do! Our focus is restoring parts back to factory specs. Steering wheels, engine components, fuel pumps, coils, carbs and more. We can do it all. Email us for additional information.
What does NOS mean?
"New Old Stock." It refers to an item being brand new and newly discovered old stock rather than a reproduction. It’s old stock because it has been sitting in someone’s warehouse for many years, but it is, nonetheless, brand new.
Original Equipment Manufacturer. This denotes the part was manufactured by one of the many suppliers of parts to assemble your vehicle on the production line. The part will be as good as any item carrying the VW Logo. Examples: ATE and FAG make Brake hydraulics, master cylinders, wheel cylinders, calipers, etc for VW. Bosch makes many of the electrical components; Zimmermann makes brake rotors and drums; Pagid and Jurid make brake pad and shoes; LUK and Sachs make Clutches; Pierburg makes fuel injection parts. Boge and Sachs make Shock Absorbers; Mahle and Kolbenschmidt make engine parts and so on… There are hundreds more OE Suppliers to the Volkswagen Audi Group.
Genuine VW Part – generally still available from Volkswagen. But wait... there is Genuine VW Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, United Kingdom, South Africa and others. Genuine VW means the product is manufactured to VW tolerances; however, in our experience, products made in Europe are better than those made elsewhere, even if they carry the VW Logo.
